Printed boxes for influencer kits and press sends, launches too. Mailer, magnetic or two-piece, with a fitted insert, print on the inside and a slot for your note card. Minimums are low, so a small seeding list is fine, and we can make you a physical sample first.
Your time is very important to us so we have kept it short.
Influencers get buried in free stuff. Honestly, the parcels that end up on camera are the ones where lifting the lid feels like a little event, and that’s the whole job of custom PR boxes: a tough outer box, print inside as well as out, and an insert holding every product exactly where you put it, so the first thing the camera sees is your brand and not a mess of tissue paper.
We do these for beauty brands seeding a new shade, skincare launches, a lot of fashion labels, drinks companies, tech accessory folks, agencies sending press kits. Thirty creators? Three thousand? Either is fine.
First thing we ask: how’s it traveling? If it goes through the mail with just a label slapped on, it has to be a corrugated mailer that can take the sorting machines, and most people pick a printed mailer box in E-flute (opens with a nice tuck front). Going inside a brown outer carton? Then you can get fancy. A magnetic closure box in rigid board snaps shut, and creators love showing that snap.
Next, the reveal. Printing the inside is the cheapest big upgrade there is, so put a message under the lid, or a pattern, or something like “you’re one of the first to try this”, and suddenly a normal unboxing is worth filming.
Kits are usually a jumble of sizes, a bottle and a jar, a compact, a card. No insert and it all slides into one corner somewhere between the warehouse and the doorstep. We’d cut a paperboard or corrugated insert with a pocket for each piece, and for glass leave a bit of space around the bottle so it isn’t leaning on the wall. Small thing. Saves breakage.
Stuff people often tuck in with the products:
Give the card its own slot in the insert. Shoved under a product, it shows up crumpled every time.
Cameras notice finish more than you’d expect. Soft-touch looks rich and doesn’t flare under a ring light the way high gloss does, while foil (gold or silver) and spot UV and a bit of embossing all catch the light nicely in close-ups. Playful launch? Holographic foil, sure. And if you’re nervous about a box being spotted on a porch before launch day, keep the outside plain and save the loud stuff for the inside.
We set up the dieline and artwork for free, send a digital proof, and can make a physical sample so you can test the fit with real product, which we’d really push for on a kit with five pieces. Minimums are low, often around 50 boxes depending on style. A first seeding round fits fine. Production is 10 to 12 business days after approval, there’s rush if your date is close, and US shipping is free. Beauty kit? Have a look at our makeup PR boxes. Sending monthly, check the subscription boxes, and our mailer box dimensions guide helps when you’re picking a size.
The corrugated mailer kind can go as is with a label on. Rigid magnetic ones should ride inside a shipping carton, or the wrap gets scuffed.
However many the box takes, really. Most kits land at three to six items, each with its own pocket cut to size.
Yep, low minimums make a small first send easy, then you just reorder the same design once you see what landed.
Not sure which size you need? Our guide to custom thank you cards lists the common ones and how to measure.
Brands ordering these often look at makeup PR boxes and custom printed subscription boxes as well. You can see the full range in custom subscription boxes.
