CBD dropper bottle boxes for 15ml, 30ml or 60ml tinctures, and we can add a little neck insert so the glass and the pipette stop clattering about. Room on the panels for strength and batch info, too. Finish? Matte is our usual pick, though soft-touch and foil are there if you want them.
Your time is very important to us so we have kept it short.
Glass dropper bottles look lovely and break easily. A 30ml amber bottle with a rubber bulb on top is tall and a bit top heavy, so in a loose carton it tips, the pipette knocks against the wall, and sometimes the bulb gets squashed flat. CBD dropper bottle boxes are made to hold that exact bottle firmly upright.
Most of the CBD brands we work with sell oils and tinctures in 15, 30 or 60ml bottles, sometimes with pet formulas alongside. Their bottles all look much the same, so the box ends up doing the real work of telling one strength from another.
Height comes from the dropper. You measure from the bottom of the bottle right up to the tip of the bulb and then give it a few millimeters, and for a 30ml with a normal dropper that tends to land somewhere near 1.5 by 1.5 by 4.25 inches, though bulbs and collars are all a bit different so we’d honestly rather have the real bottle in hand. One warning. Change dropper suppliers halfway through and you might find the lid won’t close.
Inserts make a big difference. A card collar that grips the neck stops the rattle, and a full cradle insert is better for heavy glass or boxes going out in the mail. Our related CBD tincture boxes use the same approach for slimmer bottles.
There’s a lot of text on a CBD box, way more than a lipstick carton. You’ve got the milligrams in the bottle and per dropper, the serving size, ingredients, a batch number and usually a QR code to the lab results, so what we’d do is make the strength big on the front (a different color for each one) and push the small print round to the sides and back.
What has to be printed depends on your state and product type, so confirm that with your own adviser. Our CBD oil packaging guide for US laws and labels is a helpful overview. On our end, we check that small type and QR codes print sharp, and we send a digital proof before production.
Calm and clean sells in this category. Think white or kraft board with matte lamination and maybe one foil hit on the logo, and if the oil is on the pricier side, soft-touch feels nice in the hand. A touch of spot UV on the leaf or on the strength number? Sure, it’s subtle.
Think about the whole range first. We see it all the time: a brand starts with one 30ml oil and inside a year there’s a stronger one, a sleep blend, and then somebody wants a pet version. Leave room in the design for that, with a color system and a strength panel that can change, and you won’t have to redesign everything later.
For larger bottles or full spectrum lines, our custom CBD oil packaging boxes are worth a look, and the full CBD packaging boxes range includes display trays and boxes for creams and gummies. Design help is free, and we set up the dieline around your bottle.
Yes. Keep one layout and change the color band and milligram number for each strength. Most digital print jobs don’t have plate charges anyway, so a few extra versions won’t hurt much.
On a shop shelf, a snug box can be fine on its own. If it’s going in the mail we’d add the neck insert, little bottles slide around a lot.
Yep. We quote each size on its own line, and if you keep the artwork the same across both, the range looks like a family. Send us your bottle sizes to start.
Plenty of customers order this alongside CBD display boxes, CBD cream boxes, CBD tincture boxes and CBD gummy packaging. More styles are in CBD packaging boxes, and CBD packaging compliance covers the common sizes.
