Got a 30ml dropper bottle (or a 15, or a 60)? We’ll make a tuck end or rigid box that fits it with the bulb on, add an insert if you sell sets, and leave real room on the sides for dosage and batch info. Design help’s free.
Your time is very important to us so we have kept it short.
Walk into any CBD shop and look at the shelf. Amber bottle, amber bottle, amber bottle. Honestly the box is about the only way anyone tells them apart, so our custom CBD oil packaging boxes have a pretty big job, keep the glass from cracking, fit all the dosage and batch stuff people actually read, and get picked up before the one next to it.
Our customers here are hemp farms bottling their own oil, wellness brands, pet CBD companies and dispensaries with a house label. Glass cracking in the mail and boxes too small for the label copy are the two complaints we hear first.
Nine out of ten oils we see are in a 15, 30 or 60ml glass dropper. Here’s the trap. A 30ml bottle stands about 3 inches tall bare, and then you screw the rubber bulb on and suddenly it’s nearer 4, and a box sized off the bare bottle means a squashed, bent dropper. Bulb on when you measure. Always.
Most people go with a plain reverse tuck end and that’s fine. Pricey oil? We’d nudge you toward a little rigid box or a two-piece with foam, it feels heavier. Pet CBD is its own thing (we do a lot of it), bright colors and a big friendly front, since let’s be real, the buyer is shopping for the dog.
Ever pick up a box and hear glass clinking around inside? Not a great first impression. We fix that with a paperboard insert that has a hole for the neck, so the bottle stands up and stays off the walls, and if you sell a set (day oil plus night oil, or a sampler pack of strengths) we just cut separate holes in one insert so the bottles never touch.
Selling online? Put the cartons in a corrugated mailer with a bit of padding, thin glass and sorting machines don’t get along.
People buying CBD oil actually read the box, which is kind of rare. Total CBD, how much per serving, full or broad spectrum, ingredients, directions, then a QR code for the lab report, and all of that has to live somewhere, so we’d sort out the side and back panels first and do the pretty front last. Our CBD oil labeling guide for the USA is a decent place to start. Get your lawyer to OK the final wording though.
A tip from the proofing stage: strength is what people compare first, so put the milligram number big on the front. Custom CBD oil packaging boxes with the strength hidden in small type on the side lose sales to the box next to them.
We’ll do the dieline and lay out all that copy for free, then you get a digital proof to look over. Need a slightly different format? Have a look at our CBD tincture boxes or the CBD dropper bottle boxes, and there’s more in the whole CBD packaging section. You can usually start at around 50 boxes, depending on the style.
Roughly 1.4 by 1.4 by 4 inches a lot of the time. Bottles differ though, so mail us yours with the dropper on and we’ll measure it ourselves.
Sure, that’s really common. You keep one artwork and we stretch or shrink it to each box, and the line ends up looking like a family.
Wellness brands mostly go matte or soft-touch, often with a foil logo. If your label is loud and fun, gloss honestly works better.
