Snug paperboard and rigid boxes for 510 thread cartridges, with a cut-out insert that keeps the glass upright and the oil where it belongs. Room on the panels for strain, size, batch and warning text, plus foil, spot UV and window options for dispensary shelves.
Your time is very important to us so we have kept it short.
A vape cartridge is a tiny glass tube full of oil, and it’s fragile in all the wrong places. Drop one in a loose box and the glass can crack at the base, or the mouthpiece can work loose and leak. So we build custom vape cartridge boxes snug around the cart, insert and all, and it gets to the dispensary shelf looking exactly how it left your filling table.
Who orders them? Hemp and CBD brands, licensed producers, white label suppliers, that crowd. Most of them sell several strains or cart sizes, and they need a box system that keeps the look consistent while making each product easy to tell apart.
Common 510 carts come in half gram and full gram sizes, and the difference in height is enough that one box doesn’t fit both well. We size the box to the cart with its tip cap on and leave just a little clearance. A cart that can slide even a few millimeters up and down will knock its mouthpiece against the lid.
The insert is a paperboard card with a round hole that grips the cart near the base. For premium kits, a foam cavity holds the cart and a battery side by side. Brands selling empty hardware can see our empty vape cartridge packaging for bulk-friendly formats.
A slim tuck end carton in SBS paperboard is the everyday choice. It’s light, prints sharp and stacks neatly in a dispensary drawer. A sleeve over a tray feels nicer to open and works well for limited drops. Rigid boxes with a magnetic flap are for gift sets or premium lines that sell at a higher price.
Windows? Some shoppers do like checking the oil color. Light gets in that way too, though, and if carts sit under shop lights for weeks we’d honestly rather print a good photo on a closed box.
A cart box has to carry a lot on very small panels: brand, strain name, cart size, potency, batch number and the warning text your state asks for. The front stays clean for the logo and strain name; the back and sides take the detailed text. Our team checks that the small print stays legible at actual size. Since rules change by state, please confirm the wording with your own legal advisor before approving the proof. Our guide to CBD packaging laws and labels is a useful starting point.
For a line of strains, keep one layout and swap colors per strain. Gold or silver foil on the logo, spot UV over matte, or a holographic accent all look good under dispensary lighting. For outer cartons when you ship cases to stores, see our vape accessories shipping boxes.
You can start small with custom vape cartridge boxes, often around 50 boxes depending on the style, and the more you order the less each one costs. Design help’s free. We build the dieline, drop your art in, look the file over for print problems, then you get a digital proof. A physical sample is available on request so you can test with your real carts.
Production takes 10 to 12 business days after proof approval, and ground shipping in the USA is free. Most digital print jobs have no die or plate charges. Browse more in CBD packaging boxes and vape boxes and packaging, or request a quote.
It can with an adjustable insert, but a box sized to each cart fits better and looks neater on the shelf.
Yes. A foam or board insert with two cavities keeps the cart and battery apart so they don’t rub.
Kind of a tradeoff. You see the oil, but light gets in, so for carts that sit around a while we’d go closed.
Brands ordering these often look at CBD pre roll boxes, CBD cosmetic packaging boxes, CBD lotion boxes and CBD dropper bottle boxes as well. You can see the full range in CBD packaging boxes, and our guide to CBD packaging compliance helps with sizing.
