CBD cream boxes for jars, squeeze tubes and salve tins. We’d print them on paperboard or kraft with room for strength per container, ingredients and the batch number, and heavy glass jars get an insert so they don’t rock around in there.
Your time is very important to us so we have kept it short.
Think about a little tub of CBD cream on a pharmacy shelf. It has to tell people how much CBD is in it, what it’s for, what else went in, which batch it’s from, and that’s way too much for a jar label the size of a coaster, so CBD cream boxes give you the extra panels (and keep the jar or tube from getting knocked about in a stockroom or a mail truck).
Wellness brands order most of these. Hemp farms with their own lines too, and a handful of massage and physio clinics. Usually the cream sits next to tinctures and gummies, and the owner wants the whole lineup to look like one family.
Jars come up most. A 2 oz glass jar is short and wide, so it sits well in a squat, nearly cube tuck end, but if it’s heavy glass we’d honestly always put a card insert with a cutout under it, because otherwise it rocks, the lid works loose somewhere around Ohio, and you’ve got a box full of cream. Plastic jars? Lighter, much more forgiving.
Tubes want long and slim. Leave a little extra for the crimped end. Salve tins go in a short flat box, and whatever you’ve got, send it to us with the lid on and we’ll size off the real thing. Selling pumps or bigger bottles as well? Our CBD lotion boxes suit that shape.
What has to be printed on a CBD product changes from state to state, and it changes a lot. Start with our CBD packaging labeling guide, then check your own state’s rules and just tell us what needs to go on. We’ll find the space.
Plan it early, is our advice. Front panel: brand, product name, CBD amount and the one-line use (“muscle rub”, “night cream”), and then the full ingredients, directions, batch number and a QR code to your test results all go round the back and sides, because a clean front honestly does more for you at the shelf than anything else on the box.
CBD skincare mostly goes calm. White or pale SBS paperboard, matte lamination, one foil accent and a lot of breathing room. Kraft if your story is farm-grown and natural, soft-touch if you want it to feel like a spa.
Little touches? A debossed leaf maybe, or the logo in spot UV, or a short note printed inside the lid that people only find once they open it. Our team does the dieline and artwork free, checks your files for print issues and sends a digital proof, and we print with soy-based and water-based inks. More in the CBD packaging boxes range, and the CBD cosmetic packaging boxes if you also do serums or face products.
Launching a new strength or a new scent? Low minimums help there, often around 50 boxes depending on the style, and each box costs less the more you order. We need 10 to 12 business days after you approve the proof. Ground shipping is free anywhere in the USA, and we’ll send a physical sample first if you’d like to hold one.
Usually something around 2.5 by 2.5 by 2 inches. Jars differ though, so send yours and we’ll confirm.
You can. Thing is, the jar’s usually opaque or labeled, so the window shows jar, not cream, and most brands would rather have the panel for text.
It can, especially with gold foil or a deboss on top. Earthy, but still feels like a treat.
