Printed boxes built around your power bank, its cable and the little leaflet that rides along. Pick tuck end cartons for retail pegs, mailers for online orders or rigid gift boxes for corporate handouts, with inserts that stop the charger from sliding and scuffing in transit.
Your time is very important to us so we have kept it short.
A power bank is a dense little brick. Heavier than you’d guess. Plus there’s a cable, a folded leaflet, and about forty people picking it up in the store before somebody actually buys it. Custom power bank boxes are built around that brick, so the charger sits snug, the cable has its own spot, and your logo isn’t fighting a generic carton for attention.
Most people who order these are small electronics brands, Amazon sellers and companies giving out branded chargers as corporate gifts. The problem they bring us is nearly always the same one: a stock box that rattles. The power bank slides around, scuffs its finish, and your customer opens something that already looks used.
Is it a slim 5,000mAh thing for a pocket, or a 20,000mAh brick with a fold-out stand? Totally different shapes. So we grab your real product and write down length, width, thickness and weight, then the cable and manual and whatever else goes in, and if you’re measuring it yourself our guide on measuring a box by length, width and height helps.
Weight, honestly, is the sneaky one. A heavy battery pack dropped corner first will punch through thin board, so the bigger models usually get thicker paperboard or an E-flute corrugated shell instead of plain cardstock. Lighter pocket chargers do fine in SBS paperboard with a tuck end.
Here’s the thing. The insert does most of the protecting. A die-cut paperboard tray with one cavity for the charger and a smaller pocket for the coiled cable stops the two from rubbing, so the metal USB tip can’t scratch the casing on the way to your customer. For glossy or brushed metal power banks, that alone saves a lot of returns.
Foam inserts are an option on rigid boxes, where you want the device to sit flush under the lid. Just don’t make the cavity too tight. Nobody likes prying a charger out with a fingernail (we’d cut a little thumb notch in the side).
If your chargers hang on pegs or sit on a shelf, a tuck end carton with a hang tab and a small window is the practical pick. It’s light, ships flat, and gives you six printed panels for capacity, port types, input and output ratings and a barcode.
Handing them out at a conference? Different story, and here we’d put the charger in a magnetic closure rigid box with your logo foil stamped on the lid and soft-touch on the wrap, because it feels like a real gift then and not a freebie. It costs more per unit, sure. But nobody bins that box on day one. See more in our electronics packaging boxes, and if you sell cables, our USB data cable packaging boxes can be printed to match.
Minimums are low, often around 50 boxes depending on the style, and the price per box drops as the quantity goes up. Our team sets up the dieline and lays out your artwork at no extra cost, then checks your files for print issues. You get a digital proof before anything prints, and you can ask for a physical sample before the bulk run.
Production usually takes 10 to 12 business days after you approve the proof, and rush production is available if a launch date is tight. Ground shipping is free anywhere in the USA. Once you have your dimensions, send them over for a quote.
Yes. We size the insert with separate cavities so the adapter sits beside or under the charger instead of loose on top. Just send us the measurements of all three items.
For larger, heavier models an E-flute corrugated box or a rigid box usually holds up better in shipping. Light pocket chargers are normally fine in SBS paperboard.
You can. Most brands put capacity, ports and ratings on the back and safety wording on a side panel.
Brands ordering these often look at custom home alarm packaging boxes, custom software boxes, custom doorbell packaging boxes and custom USB data cable packaging boxes as well. You can see the full range in product packaging.
