Printed boxes for round, heart and cube bath bombs, singles or gift sets, with inserts that cradle each fizzer so it doesn’t crumble. Window cutouts show the colors, and laminated board helps keep bathroom humidity off your bombs until they hit the tub.
Your time is very important to us so we have kept it short.
Bath bombs are delicate in a way most products aren’t. They crumble if you knock them, they chip at the seam where the mold halves meet and a little humidity can start the fizz before they ever reach a bathtub. Custom Printed Bath Bomb Packaging Boxes give each one a snug spot to sit, a closed box to keep the air off, and a printed surface that tells people what scent and color they’re getting.
Our bath bomb customers range from kitchen-table makers selling on Etsy to bath and body shops with a full line. Everybody wants the same thing, honestly. Bomb arrives in one piece and still smells like it did the day you wrapped it.
Round bath bombs are usually around 2 to 3 inches across, and the giant ones run closer to 3.5. We’d put a round one in a cube box just a bit bigger than the bomb, with a die-cut ring insert so it can’t roll. Hearts and stars and those little cupcake ones are fussier, so it’s either an insert cut to the exact outline or a shallow tray.
Most makers shrink wrap the bomb first, then box it. That film layer is what really slows down humidity. The box adds protection from knocks and gives you the branding. If you skip the shrink wrap, keep the box tightly closed and store stock somewhere dry.
Single bomb boxes sell well near the register as an add-on. Gift buyers? They grab the 3-packs and 6-packs, either in a long box or a square tray with dividers. Holiday sets with a bomb, a soap bar and a candle need a deeper box with separate pockets. Our gift box sizes guide is useful when you’re planning those mixed sets.
Pairing your bath bombs with soap? Our custom soap boxes can share the same artwork, and the cube gift boxes make a nice option for single oversized bombs.
Bath bombs sell on color. A window cutout lets a swirl of pink and purple do the selling for you. Round or heart-shaped windows look playful and suit the product. Just keep the window a little smaller than the bomb so it doesn’t push out through the opening.
For printing, SBS paperboard gives the brightest colors. If your bombs are the botanical, essential-oil kind, kraft looks right, kind of handmade. Damp hands in a bathroom? Laminate it, matte or gloss. And we’ll be honest, glitter bombs in a holographic foil box sell like crazy, while gold foil is more the grown-up spa crowd.
Send us the bomb size and shape, how many go in each box and your artwork. Our team builds the dieline and insert, lays out your design and checks the files for print issues, all at no extra cost. You’ll see a digital proof first, and a physical sample is a smart move with fragile products.
Orders often start around 50 boxes depending on the style, with the price per box dropping as quantities grow. Production is 10 to 12 business days after approval, and ground shipping is free across the USA. More beauty packaging lives in our cosmetic boxes section.
It’s strongly recommended. Shrink wrap keeps moisture away from the bomb, and the box handles protection and branding.
For a bomb around 2.5 inches across, a cube box of about 2.75 inches with a ring insert is a common fit. Measure yours to be sure.
Yes. Keep the window slightly smaller than the bomb and use a film covering so dust and fingers stay out.
