Christmas boxes printed with your own holiday artwork, in rigid board, SBS or corrugated. Go for a lift-off lid or a magnetic flap, or a mailer if it’s being shipped, then add gold or silver foil, some embossing, an insert. Retail sets and corporate gifts mostly. Order early, December gets packed.
Your time is very important to us so we have kept it short.
Every year, same story. Somewhere around mid November a brand realizes its holiday gift sets don’t have a box yet. Honestly, plan your custom Christmas gift boxes well before that, because the box is half of what makes a set feel like a present and, annoyingly, printers are at their busiest right when you need them.
Who orders these from us? Retailers putting seasonal sets together, corporate teams sending something to clients, bakeries, a lot of chocolatiers, online shops wanting a bit of holiday magic. Pretty much all of them want a box that says Christmas but doesn’t look like it came off a supermarket shelf.
Retail first. If it’s a mug plus a bag of coffee, say, we’d put it in an SBS carton or a two-piece box with a window cut in the lid so shoppers can see what’s inside without tearing anything open. Corporate gifts are a bit different. Most companies go rigid, magnetic flap or lift-off lid, since it feels serious and handles heavy stuff, and people hang on to those boxes for years to store cables or photos in. Mailing them out? Then a printed corrugated mailer, which still looks festive and doesn’t fall apart with the courier.
Inserts are where holiday sets go wrong. Put a bottle and a candle in one empty box with chocolates and they’ll knock into each other the whole way across the state. We’d die-cut an insert so each piece gets its own little spot, and when the lid comes off it looks like somebody actually planned it.
Foil. Gold or silver on a deep red or black wrap has been around forever and there’s a reason, under store lighting it sort of glows and on Instagram it looks great (navy and green work fine too). Want texture but no extra color? Emboss a snowflake pattern or just your logo. We like soft-touch lamination on luxury sets, it feels close to velvet. Holographic foil is more for playful, sparkly brands, so it depends who you are.
Quick tip, and we say this every year. Don’t print the year on the box unless you’re fine binning the leftovers in January. Something like Holiday Edition or Winter Edition can come back out next season, so the extra stock isn’t a write-off.
Standard production is 10 to 12 business days from proof approval. Add a few days for proofing, then transit, and rigid boxes usually want a sample round first too. So if you’re selling in December, try to approve artwork by late October. Rush production is available on request, but it costs more and holiday capacity is tight everywhere, not just with us. Bigger runs bring the price per box down, and our bulk ordering guide walks through that.
We set up the dieline and artwork for free. Our team also checks your files before the digital proof goes out, which saves a round of emails when the calendar’s already tight. Ground shipping anywhere in the USA is free.

Yes, if the outside size stays the same. Swap the insert for each set and keep the one printed box, it saves you money.
Rigid board for the premium gifts and SBS for retail sets. Anything going in the mail, corrugated.
We can. A short note or a pattern inside the lid is a nice little surprise, and on most styles it doesn’t add much to the cost.
