Christmas boxes for your cookies and fudge, the peppermint bark, truffles, whatever’s on the tray this year, printed with your own holiday artwork. Add a window or dividers if you want. Sizes run from a single favor up to a big family box. Order early (really), minimums are low, and US shipping is free.
Your time is very important to us so we have kept it short.
December is when a small bakery or candy maker can sell more in three weeks than in the whole summer. And a lot of it is gifts. Custom Christmas treat boxes are how that tray of fudge or dozen sugar cookies goes from something you bought to something you give. The box does a surprising amount of the work.
Who orders these from us? Bakeries mostly, and chocolatiers, a good few cookie decorators, coffee shops doing gift bundles, plus the odd office sending treats out to clients. Some want classic red and gold. Others want a quiet kraft box with a single snowflake. Both sell.
The treat decides the box. Iced sugar cookies want a flat box and some kind of divider or tray, otherwise the icing scrapes right off on the drive home. Fudge and bark? Snug, with a greaseproof liner, because butter soaks into plain paperboard and leaves those dark blotches. Truffles want an insert with little cups. Mixed assortments do well in a two piece box with a few compartments.
A word on frosting. If the lid sits too low, it touches the tops of iced cookies and you open the box to smudges. We always ask for the height of your tallest piece, decorations included.
For cookies specifically, our cookie box sizes guide shows how many fit in common box sizes, which saves a lot of guessing.
Some popular setups:
If the icing is the whole point, put in a window. For fancy chocolates or the corporate gift crowd we’d honestly go rigid with a magnetic flap, it just feels like a present the second someone picks it up. If you need several shapes in one look, our Christmas cookie boxes and Christmas candy boxes can share the same artwork.
Red and green and gold, sure, it’s a classic for a reason. But we’ve printed some really nice cream and sage boxes too, and navy with silver, and plain kraft with just a red foil logo (that one’s our favorite, to be fair). A bit of gold foil on a snowflake catches the twinkly lights in a shop. Lids take an emboss well. Soft-touch feels warm.
Want to sell the same boxes year round? Keep your logo and layout and swap a holiday sleeve or sticker in December. It saves reprinting everything. Our designers set up the dieline and lay out your artwork at no extra cost, check your files for print issues, and send a digital proof. A physical sample is available on request.
Seriously. Every bakery remembers the year they ordered boxes on December 10th. Standard production is 10 to 12 business days after you approve the proof, with rush available on request, but proofs and changes take time too. Aim for late October, early November at the latest, and you’ll be relaxed.
You don’t need a huge run either, it’s often around 50 boxes depending on the style, and each box gets cheaper the more you order. Ground shipping is free anywhere in the USA. Browse the rest of our Christmas packaging, or send us your treat sizes for a quote.
It can stain uncoated board. A greaseproof liner or a coated inner surface keeps fudge, bark and buttery cookies from marking the box.
Sure. A few cardboard dividers or a tray insert and the cookies stay away from the candy, which stays off the chocolate, and nobody opens a box of crumbs.
Yes. Many bakeries order a small, medium and large box in the same artwork so the whole holiday range matches.
Brands ordering these often look at custom christmas present boxes, custom christmas paper bags, custom christmas gift boxes and custom christmas EVE boxes as well. You can see the full range in christmas packaging boxes.
